Environmental care gets more and more important in our society each year. There are always new threats to our environment that that are revealed. We struggle to keep our effects on the environment at a minimum level, both when products are manufactured and when the sprinkler systems are in use.
In manufacturing no chemicals are used and all waste material is taken care of in a good way. All painting is carried out by suppliers that take care of their waste in a satisfying way. When installing an Ultra Fog sprinkler system almost no welding is needed so it can be kept clean and environmental friendly. Since the pipe dimensions in our system are small, the resources used for producing and transporting the installation material are less than for other sprinkler systems.
The largest effects on the environment are caused by a sprinkler system when it is in use. Some systems use gas, special liquids and so on for fire fighting, but Ultra Fog water fog sprinkler system uses only pure water. When protecting machinery spaces using our foam system to protect the bilge, foam liquid is mixed with the water. The amount of this liquid is small and it is easy to take care of afterwards. In case of a fire a lot of poisonous gases and soot are formed. Since the water fog effectively binds the soot this will mix with the waste water and will then be easy to take care of since the amount of waste water is small. Water fog also protects objects in the burning space against smoke and soot by covering them with a film of water.
