Ultra Fog offers its users an advanced system for fire protection with varying methods for detection of fires and activation of the system. Ultra Fog water fog sprinkler system can be customized for different environments and applications and can be used to protect accommodation areas on boats and ships of all sizes according to IMO Res A800(19). Ultra Fog can also be used to protect (total flooding) machinery spaces up to 3348 cubic metres according to IMO MSC Circ 1165. In larger machinery spaces Ultra Fog can be used as local protection according to IMO MSC Circ 913 since water fog is effective against fires in oils and other fluids but still totally harmless.
Ultra Fog AB has developed a system to fill parts of the machinery spaces, especially the bilge, with foam in case of fire. This system is used as a complement to the water fog system and is totally integrated with the rest of the Ultra Fog system.
Ultra Fog water fog sprinkler systems have been installed in many different types of boats and ships, for example yachts, passenger ferries, tankers and a copy of a 1600-century ship. Of course Ultra Fog can be used to protect deep fat fryers and Galley ducts with water fog.
